Background
Jason received his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to that, Jason spent 13 years in various leadership roles in the advertising industry after obtaining a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Ohio. Through therapy, we will work together to make sense of early experiences, address present-day problems, and shift patterns and internal defenses. Jason looks to James 1 for counseling inspiration -- therapy work can be challenging, but through the process and your growing resilience you will find joy in the restoration the Lord brings. Jason has been trained and continues to train in narrative, internal and external family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy modalities, in addition to extensive treatment and experience in addiction recovery.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4
Family
Jason and his wife, Jen, recently welcomed a baby girl to their family so his favorite hobby at the moment is being a new dad. Jason also enjoys hiking, running, cycling, and golf!
